WASHPOOLS Campground Middlebrook

Table of Contents

Getting there

  • If you turn right after Wingen onto Cressfield road follow that until the creek crossing just before the intersection of Middlebrook road
  • Turn right and follow the road until it turns to dirt. Continue and watch for the turn off to the right at the entry into the camp grounds
  • We towed our MDC XT12 with our Current model Hilux and had no trouble with the entry or exit into the campgrounds
  • Should you need supplies or want to support the locals, Scone is only a short 20min drive. Simply exit the campgrounds back onto Middlebrook road and follow it all the way to the roundabout at Liverpool street and turn left into the town centre
  • Alternatively, from the south turn left off the New England Hwy and follow Liverpool street until the roundabout and turn right onto Middlebrook road and follow it out until you reach the washpools campground, approximately 20km’s
  • The entry and exit as mentioned can be troublesome due to the river crossing and tight steep turns into and out of the campground
  • Our Hilux had no trouble but its worth a mention
